Week 7 - Oct 2-6

Updates:
UN Day on Thursday, 19 October - 3D will have a class luncheon.  We invite families to share a dish from their culture. 

Field trip to Farma Dyn Pumpkin Farm on Friday, 20 October.  A letter was sent home with students on Thursday.

Student Reflections:
​From Lucja: 
 On Thursday, we started our End of the Unit project about different systems. On Friday, Ms. Mackenty came to us and taught us how to be a word collector. 

From Denis: 
 On Monday, we were getting ready for our conferences. We did our reflections about how we feel about ourselves. 

 From Jan: 
 On Tuesday and Wednesday we had 3-Way Conferences. We were presenting our goals to our parents and we were the teachers. We showed our blob tree.

From David: 
 We learned how to be words collectors and we tried to collect words and we did it. We found words that we did not know, and then we followed the instructions to figure out what that mean.
