A message from our couselor, Jamie Hamlin:
Small Counseling Groups will begin soon, please complete a Parent Permission Form if you would like your child to join.
This week we concluded our How We Express Ourselves unit with our opinion writing, a math interview, making a poem visual expressive with Google Slides, and representing ourselves in a Color-Symbol-Image.
On Monday, information will be sent out about our new unit and the new home learning expectations.
My favorite part of this week was creating our Word Art on our computers. We made a list of words to describe ourselves and made it into a picture.
I liked 'The Name Jar' book. I had a connection from when I came in second grade and my name was hard to say. This reminded me of that and how I felt.
This week I read in 'Heros in Training'. It is about Zeus and his friends who are going to the sea that is very hot and if you go in you get burnt.
This week, I liked looking at the different photos for different perspectives. My favorite picture was the picture that looked like a rabbitt and a duck.
The pattern blocks were my favorite math stations because it's fun to make different patterns and there are different colors.
