This week we began our new unit Who We Are and we dug into our different body systems. Students are inquiring into the seven different body systems and how they are connected. We explored the features of non-fiction text and how features like Table of Contents, Glossary, Headings, and Index help us find information. Ms. Sheehan came and helped us explore online databases. We also began our partnership with the HS Service Learning group for Ja Wista and are now composting three days a week. Author Marissa Moss joined us on Thursday and we had our class party on Friday.
