Homework Update

1. This week students will receive a new reading log which has an additional column for recording time.  Students should be reading a total of 120 minutes per week (20 minutes a day x 6 days).   It is up to your family schedule when reading can be incorporated with the end goal of 120 minutes to report by each Monday morning.  A balance of languages read is encouraged. 
   
   
2. As we look more into ‘Who We Are’ we will begin to inquire into how our food choices shape who we are and how we act.  Students have been asked to bring in 2 food packages with nutritional information (language not important).  If possible, one package should represent what they think is a healthy food choice and the other should represent an unhealthy choice.
